Fees and Terms
At the initial consultation your therapist will explore your current issues, enquire about background history and establish the focus of therapy. When you first contact us, it is useful if you highlight the issues you would like help with, so we can match you with the most suitable therapist from the outset.
Practice Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8am-9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am-6pm
Appointments are usually available within 48 hours.
We are available to help with new enquiries, 7 days a week.
Fees for Counselling Services (at Harley Street W1, and Bishopgate EC2):
£110-£120: Individual Counselling
£130-£140: Couples Counselling
£150: Payment via Insurance (AXA, PruHealth, Cigna, Standard Life, AVIVA, BUPA International). BUPA UK will not cover the therapist's fees, however they will cover Dr Humphries' psychiatry fees.
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and are held on a weekly basis. Weekly attendance is important for therapy to progress.
Payment is taken by the therapist at the end of each session by cash or cheque. There is no facility to take credit/debit cards.
Please note that the waiting room is closed evenings and weekends, so you will be asked to meet your therapist at the exact appointment time.
Fees for Psychiatry Services - Dr Humphries (at 12 Harley Street W1):
£350 for Initial Assessments (includes diagnosis, treatment plan and a report).
Rates are higher if you ask us to process payment through an insurance provider including BUPA UK, AXA PPP, Cigna, AVIVA, BUPA International, Standard Life and Pruhealth.
Cancellation Policy: Each therapist has a set of terms and conditions (including a cancellation policy) which will be shared with you before your consultation.
