Dr. Ashley Mullins is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). She works primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, but she is also trained in cognitive behavioural therapy and makes use of mindfulness and mentalisation-based interventions.
Ashley works with individuals and couples across the lifespan struggling with loss, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, obsessive thinking, relationship difficulties, self-esteem and identity issues, work/career difficulties, substance abuse, and life transitions.
Ashley holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has nine years of international experience working with adults, adolescents, children, and families in a variety of clinical settings. She has conducted both short-term and long-term therapy and approaches each client with an empathic appreciation for his or her unique needs. Her approach is warm, engaged and direct with a focus on utilising the therapist-client relationship to advance the therapy. Ashley believes progress is dependent on a collaborative dynamic between therapist and client, and she will endeavour to maintain an open and honest dialogue with you. Her primary goal in therapy is to create a safe environment and facilitate a process in which you have space to observe and explore your mind in a way that allows you to play with new ideas of thinking, feeling, and being.Back
