What is the difference between a Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Counselling Psychologist?
Psychologists differ slightly from Counsellors and Psychotherapists. A Counselling Psychologist is trained in Counselling Skills but also has previous degree in Psychology, and therefore has a more scientific understanding of the human mind and behaviour. Additionally, Counselling Psychologists differ from Clinical Psychologists who tend to work with more severe mental health issues.How can a Counselling Psychologist help me?
