Gabriela is our senior therapist with 24 years experience as a clinical psychologist. She is a highly qualified and recognised  cognitive behavioural therapist, presently consulting for a private health care company in London and for Harley Therapy in Portman Square. Her areas of expertise in CBT include anxiety, stress, depression, work-related issues, relationship concerns, anger-management, self-esteem, OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), phobias, CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), sleep disturbances, general health problems, PTSD (post-traumatic stress), abuse and stress-management. She has qualifications in psychology, clinical psychology and cognitive behavioural therapy and is accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy.  

Anna is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist who practises within a psychodynamic framework. She is also trained in humanistic, Integrative and cognitive behavioural therapy principles. She has had placements at Westminster MIND, Space Counselling Service St Ann’s Hospital and Lavender Hill Group Practice, London. She presently consults for Harley Therapy in Portman Square two days a week. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, general health problems, eating disorders, phobias, abuse and OCD. She has degrees in psychology and counselling psychology and is chartered with the British Psychological Society. 

Maria Vella
B.Psych (Hons), MA Couns Psych, Post-MA Dipl  Couns Psych

Maria works as an integrative practitioner, drawing mainly from   psychodynamic and existential approaches. She has worked in the field of counselling and psychotherapy in London and abroad since obtaining her psychology degree 7 years ago. She has had counselling placements at London's Westminster MIND, Women's organizations, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Services and the NHS. She presently works for Harley Therapy in Portman Square evenings and weekends. Her areas of speciality include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, phobias, abuse, anger and post-traumatic stress disorder. She has a degree in psychology, a Masters in Counselling Psychology and a post-MA diploma in Existential-Phenomenological Counselling Psychology. 

Sheri practices as an integretive psychotherapist and counsellor. She has worked for MIND, MENCAP, a Women's Centre, an Alcohol Centre, for the NHS and with private clients. Over the past 9 years, her training has covered cognitive (CBT), humanistic, existential, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspectives.  She works with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work-related issues and self-esteem. She has a Masters in Social Anthropology (UCL), a Masters in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (Oxford University) and a PhD in Psychotherapy and Counselling. She is accredited by the BACP and the UKRC.

Timothy Potter
Adv Dipl Hum Couns, Cert Couns, Cert CBT, 

Tim is an experienced and accomplished Eclectic Counsellor, Supervisor and Psychotherapist. He has been in practice for 10 years. His approach primarily comes from a Humanistic background, particularly in Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. He is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic perspectives. He has been in practice at the Cygnet Hospital, Sevenoaks for the last 9 years and has private clinics at the Atman Clinic in Tunbridge Wells as well as in Harley Street, London. His areas of speciality include: Anxiety, Stress, Depression, OCD, Eating Disorders, Self Esteem and Relationships. He works with adults, children and adolescents. Tim has a publication pending - 'Anxiety and Stress: how to start to help yourself' under the pseudo name of Timothy Edwards. 

Jeremy Royds
MB, Ch.B, FFPsych (SA), MRCPsych

Harley Therapy has established links with consultant psychiatrist Dr Royds. He offers consultations in Liaison Psychiatry, the treatment of depression and anxiety, addictive disorders, OCD, phobias, medico-legal reports and occupational stress. He consults from Harley Street, London, Classic Hospital St Saviour's, Hythe, Spire Alexandra hospital, Walderslade, Bishopsgate and Cygnet Hospital Godden Green in Sevenoaks. He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, The Royal Soceity of Medicine and The British Association for Psychopharmacology.
